Geographical Location

The Bhatera Union Parishad was established on 2 March 1969 by a gazette notification. Union Parishad is located in Kulaura upazila of Moulvibazar district. It is located 22 km north-west of the upazila on the west bank of Hakaluki Haor. Schools, Colleges, Madrasas and various institutions are inhabited by many knowledgeable people and are endowed with natural beauty. This union is rich in Natural resources likes Rivers, Canals, Beels, Haor Forest ect . The union was established with 15 mouzas and 25 villages. The 3 storied 1 storied building was constructed in 1992 and was inaugurated on 18-02-1993 by Mr. AH Mofazzal Karim, Acting Additional Secretary, Ministry of Textiles. The Union Complex was later built in 2003 on .54 acres of land.
